Spring Concert

Cutting it down to the wire is what you could call the announcement of the Spring Concert headliners will be. Yung Joc and Rick Ross are going to be the headliners but will that matter?

Given that there is only about two weeks in between the announcement and the concert, promotion is going to be very minimal and not be enough.

Then there is the issue of press coverage, which is aggravating the reporters and the photojournalists at the same time.

No recordings, no interviews, and photos of the first three songs and that is it.

Given that this is a concert for Western students, this does not allows us to our duty to the students.

This behavior of the artist, publicists, and everyone else in the chain of command is normal sometimes for normal concert but this is not a normal concert, this is a campus concert. (Even though it is at the Civic Arena because of facilities is not that good.)

It is good that semi-famous artists are coming to do the concert but the experience is deadening compared to the previous spring concerts.

We at the Griffon News had previous good (semi-good) experience at the previous concerts but this one looks like it will go in to the negative experience.

I think they pulled some pretty big names. I wish their would be more fan interaction.
